It is with a heavy heart that we report that Drew and Michelle Wattier were the victims of a hit and run, vehicle vs. pedestrian accident outside their hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The best information we have is that it occurred at approximately 1900 hours (7:00pm) our time (Pacific) on Friday Nov 30th, 2012. Drew returned to the U.S. the evening of December 5th and Michelle followed on the evening of December 6th. They were reported to be in "critical" condition but recently went to "stable." Resort staff witnessed the incident and are cooperating with local police in the case.

Drew and Michelle stopped and were cared for at UC San Diego Medical Center in San Diego, CA. Drew was transported to Portland OR then recently moved to Eugene, OR (thier home town) and resides in a Care Facility. Michelle followed shortly after and are together again and in thier home town.
